Magic Carpet Ride

He finally hovers his magic carpet above her driveway, takes a look at the email address to see if the address is correct. It was quite a ride on his magic carpet, but he finally made it. Walking up to the front door, he lifts up the mat that lies in front of the door, looking for the key. Finally inserting the key into the key hole, walking in and sits his suit case in the wicker chair, that sits just in front of the bay window. He catches a slight scent of wind-song, letting him know it hadn't been long since she'd left the house, remembering she works some where for a doctors office so, he figured it would be awhile before she'd be home from work.

Moving the suit case to the floor, he sits down lighting a pipe and starts looking around the room admiring the surrounding pictures hanging on the walls, and sitting on a couple of end tables recognizing the boys from pictures she has shown on her blog, and a picture of an older man, he doesn't recognize but he figures it's her ex-husband.

Feeling a chill in the room he wads up a few news papers, starting a fire in the wood stove. After falling asleep in the wicker chair for a bit, he gets up and puts another log on the fire. He finally decides waiting for her to return could take a little bit longer than he had planned, he lies down on the polar bear rug and falls to sleep next to the fire, the crackling cedar is a nice tune to fall asleep too .
