    The killer tossed the gun into the alley unaware of Zephyr's presence. Avoiding sirens, Zephyr took the alley most traveled by Xanthus. Knowing how Sandra was killed, Zephyr was sure that Xanthus had something to do with her death. He knew the killer wasn't human, deep scratches, and gouges from canine teeth made that clear.
