55 words. It's fun exciting and definitely a challenge making sure to use no more than fifty five words and no less of course and you must read the ones of your fellow writers. Gmans Place Let the G-Man know if you write one Why Gman's? Place because he's the Man who came up with this great Idea.

Annie skipped from rock to rock trying her best to keep her balance, she didn't want wet feet. Reaching land she pulled a daisy out of a clump of grass pulling one petal at a time saying, “He loves me, he loves me not.” She was thinking of the kiss he gave her last night.

great 55...the plucking of the daisy is such a sweet image...
my 55 is up!
I can see this in my mind. For me, that makes the best kind of 55s. Excellent.
Mine this week is DOUBLE STANDARD As always, scroll down a bit, below my Friday's Show n Tell.
Have a super weekend fellow 55'r!!
She perhaps smells a rat. I have gone for a poem this week that might be her future based on the Etheree form created about twenty years ago by an Arkansas poet named Etheree Taylor Armstrong It normally consists of ten lines of unmetered and unrhymed verse, the first line having one syllable, each succeeding line adding a syllable. I added an extra row for the word count and the punch line. See what I mean here.
A very gentle 55. I liked it very much, Larry.
Mine is up too here
Neet-O! The daisy thing...and the skipping thing. I've done both--who has not?
The kiss last night? Where is he today? Maybe the next week's "55"???
Really nice relaxing one. thanks!
Risking a watery dunk in the name of love. Great 55. My 55 is HERE.
No mayhem this week Larry.

Excellent 55 My Friend.
Thanks for visiting, thanks for playing, and have a Kick Ass Week-End...G
That was very sweet, Larry! And it brings back memories from LONG ago. I really enjoyed it!
Skipping from stone to stone to get to the daisy - ah, young love.
Awe Larry, you're a romantic devil after all. I've seen many examples of your soft side. I like it!
Great 55, I can feel her emotions all the way through, from skipping on the stones to getting caught up in picking the petals on the daisy.
Great job!
