Three Word Wednesday
When I was younger I'd dread Monday morning coming because of school. My mother was constantly coming to the school to pick me up because I had punched somebody out or maybe rebeled against one of the teachers, getting myself into deeper trouble. But, then it didn't matter to me because I hated school anyway. I think it was because of math, it seemed like I could never get a grasp on it.
Instead of helping me learn the math, Mom would just beat my butt until, she'd give up on me, sending me to school the next day with none of the problems correct because she didn't know much about mathmatics either. I'd talk to the girls who were in my class hey, I had to pacify myself some way didn't I.

Loved your tale today.
Pacifying yourself with the girls is priceless. Good job.
Been missing you lately on line, maybe you are still flying your kite. :)
Math wasn't exactly my forte, either. Much much later, I found there's a trick to it for us word-oriented types: take logic first, then math. If they'd allow such an option in K-12, it would probably make a big difference for a lot of young folks.
Then again, there are those who just don't like school, math class and attractive members of the opposite sex notwithstanding.
cool tale!
