55 words. It's fun exciting and definitely a challenge making sure to use no more than fifty five words and no less of course and you must read the ones of your fellow writers. Gmans Place Let the G-Man know if you write one Why Gman's? Place because he's the Man who came up with this great Idea.
I'd say he weighed probably seventy five pounds or more I could tell he was going to be a big dog when he was just a pup he was a beautiful fawn color all except around his left eye he had a black patch over his eye it looked really odd it was like he wore a patch over his eye that is how he came up with patch as his name.

We had a dalmation once - we named him Stripe!
Sounds like a big dog. I bet the patch on his eye made him look scary.
Nicely done Larry.
Thank you for this fine contribution.
If that dark patch would have been on his ass, he'd have been called Spot.
Have a Kick Ass Week-End...G
Our dog was rescued from the death-needle. We named him "LUCKY! He is a real smart Rhodesian Ridgeback....

Same reason three legged dogs are named Tripod. My 55 is HERE .

Happy weekend my friend
must look like a pirate!
For years, since we rent, we haven't had dogs but I have two wonderful granddogs - as soon as my son and his bride-to-be did when they bought their house, they went to the Yolo Co animal shelter and got Taffy. Two months later, Bucky joined the household. They wanted her to have company when they were at work. I adore them both.
At 65, I've done it! My poetry book - Life's Journey by Carmen Henesy - is out on Amazon!
( Poems about the things that have been important to me in my journey through life, some humorous, some sad, some that may have meaning to you as well )
