The box fans brought relief circulating the air around the room. Everyone was just lying around looking as if they were dead, except John, and when is he ever normal? Finally the evening hours did cool down. The atmosphere completely changed after the Budweiser arrived.

Thanks for visiting me at Metamorphosis today. Just to clarify, I'm from Toronto, not New York, but my sister lives there so I get to visit from time to time.

Regarding your question about the 4th of July fireworks along the Hudson River, I actually did get to see them this year. My sister lives on the Upper West side in an apartment that overlooks the river so we had front row seats! I'll post a few of those pics for you tomorrow.
