Buggie Land
I didn't take the photograph of the buggy. It's from a wallpaper on my computer.
The wind was cold sitting along the oceanside the dune buggies crossing by on their way into the dunes. It was to cold to be riding dune buggies but the sun came out and what a beautiful day it was. Until I spilled my last beer the closest store was fifteen miles away.
Flash Fiction Friday 55 is a story written in exactly 55 words. It's fun exciting and definitely a challenge making sure to use no more than fifty five words and no less of course and you must read the ones of your fellow writers. Let the G-Man know if you write one Gmans Place Why Gman's? Place because he's the Man who came up with this great Idea.

Friday Flash 55 ~ Memoirs
Oh dear, that's no good at all.
I'm sure you rectified the situation ;-)
Now you know not to drink and drive---without cupholders! LOL That was a fun one. Wouldn't want to be on a beach today; it's cold and raining again.
Nothing like the smell of spilt beer and dune buggie exhaust. Thanks for stopping by to see me.
You need better shocks Son!
Excellent 55 Larry...
Thanks for posting this again:P
Thanks for playing, thanks for visiting, and have a Kick Ass Week-End...Galen
Can't beat riding in a dune buggy. Almost makes spilling the beer worthwhile!
Spilt beer always ruins a good day. Thanks for reading mine! I hope you come back next week :)
Dune buggies sounds like fun..good 55.
Since I personally am not a fan of beer, this wouldn't bother me one bit.
For other people, though, this would indeed qualify as a tragedy of epic proportions. :)
Thanks for doing Friday 55! :)
So, then, this is a tragedy in the Greek tradition?
Beautiful cold day, buggy riding, beerless--sounds perfect to this recovering alcoholic who hasn't had a St. Pauli Girl or a Corona (beers of choice) in 19 years.
Good 55. Told a tale full of possibilities. I like your blog. I'm going looking for warlocks, etc. On my blog, you commented that your mom is experiencing signs of dementia. You're a good son if you just take it in stride and don't try to correct her. Just go with the flow. My brothers keep trying to make her remember where the bathroom is and all that other stuff, and it's hurtful to her. Just love her up and you'll feel better.
Cheers, Chris
Damn! I hate when that happens! :D
Fun 55...I hope you had a great holiday and thanks for stopping by.
