Carry On Tuesday
For Clare
I wrote your name in the sky but the wind blew it away
Doesn't matter, for all I care I'll rewrite it again someday.
I kissed your lips, as I left today. Doesn't matter, for all
I care I'll kiss em again someday.
I held your hand as we walked today, with it being cold
you tucked them away. Doesn't matter, for all I care I'll get to
hold em again someday.
I proposed to you today, your eyes became wet then you walked away.
Doesn't matter, for all I care I'll propose to you again someday.

Kind of wistful and sad and yet not depressed! Just wishing and hoping! Rather sweet!

Beautifully written.I liked it because there is hope....let that someday arrive soon.
For Clare, liked it, was it reticence or anger?
