Woman Called Rose
His fingers laced the bottle, his body turning cold, his memories of a woman he loved called Rose. Often he thought of her as he drank from his bottle of wine. She used to sit beside him, thinking back in times tears ran down his face, memories of a time it was their favorite place.
55 words. It's fun exciting and definitely a challenge making sure to use no more than fifty five words and no less of course and you must read the ones of your fellow writers. Gmans Place Let the G-Man know if you write one Why Gman's? Place because he's the Man who came up with this great Idea.

Wow, so much living and pain in just 55 words -- leaves me wondering what happened to Rose and to him, to bring him to that moment with a bottle.
Sorry to be so late stopping by; life is seriously getting in the way this weekend! (argh!)
A touch of true life: good memories mixed with regret.
Your's are always interesting. :) Have a great weekend!
His body turned cold but his emotions are still fueld with heat. Touching 55.
Thanks for visiting my blog. I see that you are from Roseburg. I live in Redding, CA not all that far from you. My husband and I played golf, on occasion, at the course that borders I-5. Can't remember the name of it but, it was quite enjoyable.
Cheers.
Very nice 55. It reminds me of the song, "Sophisticated Lady".
Don't worry about being late to my site. I think the way it goes is "the only time you're too late to visit my blog is when you don't visit at all." :)
