When the spelling bee first started there were fifteen participants, but after an hour and a half there were only two left. It would
teeter back and forth between Andrew and Sheila. I thought Sheila was going to win but it was Andrew who finally spelled androgynous correctly. I remember when I went to school and entered a spelling bee I gave the kids a run for their money, that's for sure, I won more than I lost. I was pretty good at spelling back then.
When I woke the kids up this morning for school the sun was out bright and beautiful. I thought I'd take Duke, our Labrador Retriever, to the beach to run him for awhile. I like for him to stay fit and trim for the dog shows I enter him in, we have one coming up this weekend, but, as the morning wore on the sun went behind the clouds and the day wasn't really
ideal for beach running for my blood, so I scrapped that thought.
Finally, I decided I'd just take out the material that I bought the other night at Wal- Mart and
measure it for the baby blanket I want to make. I have to have it finished Wednesday for Tanya's baby shower.
