This wordzzzle Challenge is Brought to you By Raven
This week's words are: teflon, idealistic, marshmallow, opportunistic,
words: ripen, shelve, laminate, goofy, Siamese.
This is week 97 of the Saturday Wordzzle Challenge. Anyone new to the process can refer back Here to find out how it works.
I couldn't sleep for beans last night, I tossed and turned all night long. Finally, when I opened my eyes and noticed the sun was out and shinning I thought I'd fix myself some steak and eggs. I guess when I got my lazy butt out of bed I woke mom up also. As she walked by the kitchen door she said, "If you scratch my new teflon coated frying pan I'm going to brain you with it." She never did like my care free cooking.
The kittens could smell the beef, they were all over the place looking for a morsel to eat and maybe a little bit of milk to drink. Cats have always been an opportunistic animal. I took the scissors and cut a little piece of the steak into smaller pieces for the kittens. Reaching down, tickling a kitten behind it's ear, I put the beef in a dish and poured some milk for them.
As I looked into the living room I noticed mom with her mouth wide open sawing logs again, it doesn't take her long to fall back to sleep. I spotted a fly just about to land in her mouth so I slapped my hands together and killed it instantly.
Yesterday I promised Joshua that I'd take him to Cooper Creek fishing and later we'd have a bon fire and I'd let him roast his own marshmallow. My sister was telling me just last night that I have an idealistic life.
This brings to my mind the way I laminate special pictures when I take one. I have a picture of my Siamese cat, he is known for acting really goofy such as the time I had set a tomato on the table to ripen and the cat decided to swat it across the floor several times until it exploded from abuse. I have put together several picture albums which I want to shelve in my bookcase. I like to look back at them, remembering the good times.

I really enjoyed the feeling of being at home in this piece. I could smell the cooking, see the kittens and everything. If you had not highlighted them, it would be hard to spot the set words. Good job!
What a lovely cozy morning at home. Nicely done with really tough words.
I visualized everything in your story, felt like home to me!
