Kicking her shoes off, Sheila headed toward the shower. The granite tile felt cool to her feet. As she stepped into the warm stream of water it bounced off her shoulders. Suddenly, she felt his fingers wrap around her throat. She heard him say, "I won't hurt you unless you give me a reason too ".

     The evening was warm as the languid breeze blew in from the south east.  Dad drove up close to the speaker.  Rolling the window down and reaching out he placed the speaker on the edge of the window.  The smell of popcorn was strong in the air as the music and movie began.

Loving Memories

     

Everything was great yesterday while BarBquing at Reflection Lake. The memories of Dad were heavy, I miss all the things we did together. We'd spend all morning fishing for catfish. Finally the sun peeped over the mountain, the smell of eggs and bacon cooking over the fire fill our nostrils and we're ready to eat.
