     James was adamant on getting new tires on the car before our trip to Ohio we'll be traveling to Ohio, Virginia, and Kentucky. We have relatives we haven't seen for three years we'd love to see them so we thought we'd go when it was vacation time this year.

     While the boys were in Kentucky they seen an advertisement for young boys between the ages of nine and twelve to fabricate their own derby car and then enter the car that they had made into the derby car race for the weekend after Easter Sunday The boys had a blast and I'd say there were some pretty Peculiar looking derby cars there too.

Used to make 'cars' like this when I was a boy. Any old bits and pieces would do so long as I could find wheels. They always fell to bits after about three runs.
